Lisle (LIS65600) Broken Spark Plug Remover for Ford Triton 3 Valve Engines
This tool set removes broken spark plugs from 2004 and newer Triton 3 valve per cylinder engines. The set includes a unique porcelain pusher tool and a tapered left-hand thread remover for removing the broken spark plug without leaving the porcelain in the engine cylinder. Porcelain pusher is used to press the porcelain piece, without breaking the porcelain, farther into the plug tip. This provides space for the left hand thread remover to bite into the stainless steel plug tip so it can then be pulled. Blow-molded storage case included.
USB-ICSP matrix socket
this is required to disconnect the PIC port bits PB7 and PB6, which are used for ICSP, and also they are used for display multiplex.
if power is supplied by PC USB, the matrix key plug must be pulled out!
also the USB socket is upside down so power polarity is swapped (for the reason to have easy access to the data line pins)!
there are no holes for jumpers or switches, but just two holes- enough to secure one half of a double-row socket!
the other row socket pins are connected to the USB socket using short wire pieces.
mechanically it is very durable, and absolutely short-circuit proof.
the USB socket is soldered to the PCB and also is absolutely durably hold in place.
normally the user is not affected by this key plug- it is only required during programming of the PIC.
normally also maybe the two port bits would be left to cease for other purposes- just the PIC 16f716 only has 12 port bits!
so they are essentially needed for the electrical functions.
there are also regular USB PICs, which can interact with PC software!
this PIC has no direct USB functionality.
it costs about $1 to $1.50, while small USB PICs cost at least the double amount of that.
they are also more difficult to set up and to initialize.
the 16F716 is actually very easy to use- only two RAM banks, and no program memory banks!
while the manuals for USB PICs include 100s of pages...
i also have the 18f13k50 already, about the same case size.
i was thinking if it is directly interchangeable but i do not think so...the layout is different.
actually high volume pricing is 80 cents for the 16f716, and about $1.50 for the 18f13k50. so it is not really that meaningful- it is just easier to set up a PIC with less functions.
the 18f13k50 of course also has much more RAM...
if you compare the 16f716 to 16f54 it is a lot more powerful, and more comfortable!
it can drive 4-digit display easily!
Manfrotto ball & socket head
My old heavy duty ball & socket head. All-metal construction, it's solid as a rock but weighs almost half as much as the 685B tripod in total. This thing is primative. Very well engineered but the materials technology is ten years out of date. It will support a large heavy view camera, a medium format camera or a fully-laden 35mm SLR with large telephoto or zoom attached. State-of-the-art 35mm SLRs are much lighter than their 20th century predecessors however, and really don't need a head built as heavily as this one.
lisle 14500 oil filter socket
Saves time and eliminates spills and mess. It is improved. Includes threaded cap and adapter for newer GM threaded style radiator openings. The spill-free funnel eliminates trapped air pockets which usually cause erratic cooling system and heater performance. It controls the proper amount of coolant entering system and enables unattended filling of the cooling system. The funnel eliminates squeaky belts caused by coolant overflow and protects the environment. Four adapters fit most domestic and import cars and light trucks. Angled neck allows use on radiator caps that are placed at an angle. GM threaded cap is found on '04-'07 Grand Prix, '06-'07 Buick, '04-'07 S10 Blazer, Canyon, Colorado, SSR, Trailblazer and Olds Bravada. Also found on '07 GMC Acadia, '06-'07 Hummer, Torrent, Equinox and Tahoe.
